Week 7: Dallas Cowboys (3-3) @ Philadelphia Eagles (3-3)

Cowboys have some key injuries and Eagles may have caught them at the right time to get another Division win. Please get pressure on Romo and do not allow him to sit in pocket and carve up this weak Eagles Secondary.

If we play our game and protect Romo, we should pull it out in the end.

The difference will be the Cowboys D may be more likely to come up with a stop.

In the end though, turnovers will play a role.

Go Cowboys.

If Dallas does not

RUN THE BALL and eat some clock and keep that habitually underachieving (and now remarkably thin) defense off the field

they will lose.

But I've watched Jones/Garrett and Co. too much to believe this will happen.
They will try to throw the ball over 40 times, will have regular 3 and outs, and lose in the last 15-20 minutes of the game.

I thought this was going to happen last week...two straight three and outs...5 passes, 1 run...with the lead...no clock management.

It happened against SD, even though SD put in work...had the lead, Murray with 5ypc...turned to the pass, no success, defense was gassed early in the 2nd half.

You can't rely on front-four presseure all game without giving them a breather here and there.

sigh...I wish we had the foresight to trade Austin for a DLineman...if someone would take his contract. What a non-factor he has become. I'd rather have Harris/Beasely/Williams by committee splitting targets with Witten and Bryant.

If Austin is healthy he deserves to suit up.. But he does not
deserve to start, or take snaps away from the kids who are
producing. I understand we are stuck with him and there is
nothing we can do about it.

What I hate about Dallas once you become a starter, You will keep
your place on the depth chart by how much money you make..
Not by your production..

Roy Williams is a perfect example.. (Either one LOL)

I think we lose this week, but in a low scoring game..
Dallas and Philly always plays close games..

I really respect Tony Romo and he is unfairly critisized. The Cowboys need to find a way to win this game and Tony has already proven he can't do it alone. The Cowboys need to run the ball and keep McCoy in check. If the defense plays like they did last week, Kiffin should be fired for the last time!

Im taking the Cowboys 34-31

This is the game that I'm getting in my market, so I'll be tuning in. Not a must win yet, but still a crucial game to shape up the NFC East picture and give one team a slight edge going forward in the race.

Cowboys rebounded nicely from a tough loss to win pretty handily against Washington but they suffered some key injuries.. If Murray is limited and Romo is forced to pass a lot I see the Eagles getting some pressure and forcing some sacks/turnovers off that pressure.

I'll take the Eagles 31-24 in a wild game.
