Hopefully Lee or Watkins fall to Carolina at the end of the 1st. Steve won't be around much longer and I don't think LaFell or Ginn can be a #1 down the line.

As a Texans fan from the beginning, there is no chance Texans take Bridgewater! I see Texans take Clowney or Olineman

Forgive me for asking but what kind of stock does ND LT Zack Martin have in the draft? He's been very solid his whole career at Notre Dame and protects the QB extremely well. I'd like to see the Bills get their hands on him and move him to the RT position to replace Pears at some point.

He won't be a tackle in the NFL, and he's a late-first round pick at best right now.

I've seen the Benjamin kid from Florida St. mocked late in the first to Carolina. Not sure if they need big physical receivers or smaller quick ones. Maybe both.

Hopefully we trade down, get Matthews and more picks. Build depth.

Carolina has a huge need for a red zone target, so a big physical receiver would certainly be where I'd go with the WR corps if I had my say...we'll probably re-sign Ginn, and we'll still have Steve Smith for the "smaller, shifty WR" roles.

I'd like to take Jordan Matthews (Vanderbilt), but if Kelvin Benjamin declared, I'd take a long hard look.

Carolina has huge needs at WR, OT and CB.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

So is it pretty much a lock that the Houston Texans will draft ANYBODY not named Derrick Carr with the first pick in the draft?
