Latest forecast from Wunderground.com:

Mostly cloudy. Low -14F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Yeah, those windchills at 6:30pm are going to be glorious. Welcome to Sconnie!!

How much will the weather benefit the Packers in this one? San Fran def not used to minus weather.

It may be the coldest game ever?

Could keep scoring down. The year they won the SB, they played in Atlanta and then in Chicago and the scoring went way down. Bears had a better defense but I think in one of the regular season games, the Packers had put up some points.

Bigger concern is that the winner may be tired and beat up, easier pickings for Carolina or Seattle.

I know when we played you guys in the NFC Championship Game in 07, it was around 0 degrees that night and you guys held your own in that one. Favre on the other hand looked like he didn't want to be out there at all I recall SMH.

Personally, I think SF's team is tailor made for this type of Weather, with their Defense and Run Game.

I was gonna come in and make a comment similar to this, but you said what I wanted to say.

I really do believe that they are built to play anywhere and in any conditions, as well as any environment.

Heard the game was declared a sell out because 3 Fox stations in WI bought up the remaining tickets.

I think it would have been interesting if it was blacked out locally.

Not sure that would of been interesting.

Also when it is this cold I really don't think it favors either team.
