Welp.
50% chance of snow that day (really early though) and of a course 1 pm east coast start for a west coast team.

Gotta love it.
Doesnt bode well for the chargers, nice to say we made it though regardless

Going to go with the Bengals on this one, even though they are down a bunch of starters I like how Cinci's D' matches up with the Chargers O'; and I think the forecast of blustery conditions hurts the Chargers more.

Only way the Bengals bungle this up is if Dalton just goes into Playoff Panic Meltdown mode and throws something like 4 picks. (I don't think San Diego's secondary is good enough to come up with 4 picks regardless lol)

For some reason I don't really care about this game that much but I definitely want the Bengals to win.

Really just happy to get in. Win or lose this has been a successful season for the Chargers.

I'm mildly optimistic about this game. The Chargers didn't play well last time and only lost by 7. They will need to produce on offense and maintain TOP to help their D stay in the game and keep Cincy off the field. They have lots of offensive weapons and will need to use them all to create mismatches. Defense isn't gonna stop AJ Green. But they must create pressure (duh) and stuff the run otherwise it could get ugly. It doesn't help that weather may be a factor.

As far as Cincy goes they are a crap-shoot. On paper they are better and should win. They have absolutely dominated games this year but then had a few head scratching let down games. Their D is very good and their offense can be electric with Green/Law Firm/Bernard/Jones/Gresham/Eifert. The wildcard is Dalton who looks amazing at times and horrendous at other times. If he's not on his game it could get interesting.

Being a homer I gonna go with:

Chargers 24
Bengals 21

This could easily be flipped the other way or a complete blow out by Cincy so who knows. But with Rivers leading this team I feel like we will be in it till the end. Another heart attack inducing game.

It's a tough match up, but I think we can win this one. Either way this season has been a pretty incredible ride, I'm still a little stunned we got in the post-season at all.

Chargers 31 Bengals 21 (please?)

Now I'm not a big Bengals follower, but didn't Cinci just win in San Diego several weeks? I don't think the Bengals lineup has drastically changed since then, though they did get some injuries recently. I mean, the Chargers just struggled to beat KC's 2nd string at home. Maybe I'm missing something, but not sure how that leads to a San Diego win this weekend on the road.

San Diego just beat Denver in Denver, does that guarantee they would beat Denver in Denver in the playoffs? This is the NFL, previous scores mean nothing, particularly once you get in to the postseason. They also beat that same KC team in KC.

Cincy should win, but SD winning would not be surprising at all.
