Giants "automatically void" (whatever that means) the contracts of CB Corey Webster and TE Brandon Meyers.

I thought I would be more ecstatic when I heard of the end of Webster's Giants career but I'm kinda meh about it. Yes he was trash and yes he had no business being an NFL player the past 2 years, but he was a true Giant in his earlier days and is one of the few to have 2SB rings with us from those two miracle teams. He hardly played for us last season and our pass defense (kinda sorta) began to exist without him. I won't miss him in that respect.

Brandon Meyers however was worthless in the scheme we were trying to run. Funny that now we get a west coast system and he gets let go lol.

Saints | Make roster moves

The New Orleans Saints released SS Roman Harper, DE Will Smith and CB Jabari Greer Wednesday, Feb. 12. The team also will not re-sign LB Jonathan Vilma.

Maybe clearing some cap for a big signing...

Clearing space just to get under the salary cap, they're projected to be $13-$15m over.

The Raiders actually made a nice under the radar move today. If it works out they've got a great RB in Kory Sheets who was the RB for the Roughriders in the CFL. Over the last two seasons he compiled 2,875 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns in 31 games.

This past season was his breakout year and if he can have some success in the NFL he will be looked upon as a surprise player.

Nate Burleson and Louis Delmas were cut by the Lions. They want to re-sign Delmas. He said he will test the waters.
