Subsequently, the Colts, Seahawks, and 49ers will be the new Colts/Broncos and Patriots. Playoffs year in and year out.

It's exciting looking forward to the future of the NFL.
Put Cam in that discussion, leave RG3 (and maybe Kaep) out and we're in agreement.

Back on topic, I still dislike New England for the Panthers-Pats Super Bowl, so I hope the Colts win this one. And while I would love to see Peyton win another Super Bowl, I really want Rivers to get a chance. So Rivers-Luck in the AFC Championship game, where Rivers demolishes the media's new golden boy.

So, uh...go Colts?

My prediction is that this game will play out like the game last year against the Ravens. The Colts go in and get rocked. Eventually Luck and company will get over the hump but I don't believe it happens now

Interesting that AFC threads are generating a lot less discussion pre-game, than the NFC Divisional threads. (At least by half as much) wonder if that stays course through the games?

AFC games generally see less traffic on here unless it happens to be a prime time stand alone game. I'm sure we will see an increase in posts come Saturday and Sunday as the games are happening.

I would be lying if I said making the divisional round was enough even with all the season ending and game or two here and there injuries this team has suffered. Losing a star TE who was planned to be a huge part of the offense before the season being another. A loss tomorrow night would make this season a total failure in my eyes. There is no excuse for New England not to be playing next weekend.

That said.

Colts - 32
Patriots - 23

If we can limit turnovers and not let NE run all over us we should be in good shape. Put them in passing downs and give Mathis more opportunities to get to Brady.

Asking this defense to stop the run is close to impossible though.

Should be a good game though. It's crazy we finally have another Colts/Pats Playoff game, but it's totally different from what we would've expected years ago.

Here's your (possibly) meaningless stat: Tom Brady is 8-2 at home in rain games.

Anywho, I think the Colts need to start off fast if they hope to hang in there tonight.
