Not a fan as this mean more guys will enter! That reduces my odds haha

Question: Houston Texans scoring for today...

PA1-6
3 sacks
2 fum rec
2 blocked kicks

They scored a TD but I don't see that in there...I need those points!

I really suck at this. Entered a couple games with a different lineup in each. Really thought I had a good chance. Won $0... It really seems to get a decent win you need to be willing to put in a good amount of entries into one tournament or just be extremely lucky since it's the random guys who will make your team have a shot.

Touchdowns on blocked punts don't count as defensive touchdowns in our scoring. Sorry! It's in the rules here: fanduel.com/rules

Tournaments are tough since it's only the top 20% winning. You might like our 50/50 leagues more - as long as you beat half the field you'll win.

Yea go head to head with people. Here's the thing though: are you trying to put in $1 to win $500? I mean it's like buying a lottery ticket. Wanting that instant payday on a small entry fee is just not realistic. Sure you might hit a home run but over the long haul you're likely going to just lose.

Head to head is where it's at IMO. The issue here is that with $1 head to heads your winnings are going to be small and it'll take a little while to build up your funds, assuming you win at like a 75% clip.

It's like everything else: it takes money to make money.

Can you (or maybe Frank) break down the different options. I just hopped in the OS league (thank you Matt Ryan) but I've been interested in poking around for a while now. So there's top 20, 50/50, head to head? More? How do they differ?

If it's easiest, just links to where this may be broken down on the site would be fine.

Ok let's say you put in $5 each way:

Tournament: you could win let's say $100 as the top prize and the top 20% win some money

50/50: the top half of the pool wins the same prize. You would win $9 with $5, so a $4 win

Head to head: you go against one person and winner gets $9. So a $4 win

Thanks.

So if you wanted to do head to head you just find one other person out there and challenge them? I think that's the part I'm most confused about.
