Should have said Carroll and Schneider. I'm just referring to Pete because he had the rare luxury of hiring his own GM (Schneider) upon arrival. Those two work together on player personnel and had something like 284 transactions in the first full year. Risks in the draft/FA is why I hinted at Carroll's influence.
