Week 2: New England Patriots (0-1) at Minnesota Vikings (1-0)

Patriots head to Minnesota coming off a poor performance against Miami. Minnesota on the other hand handled their week one opponent rather easily.

Predictions

Minnesota - Peterson rushes for 563 yards and 5 touchdowns. Defense sacks Brady 47 times.

New England - Brady continues to age before our eyes. Leading us one week closer to the Jimmy G Era.

FINAL SCORE
New England - 20
Minnesota - 49

I see zero chance Peterson doesn't hit 200 yards. If Moreno can gash the Pats D like that...Peterson should be able to walk 80 yards for a TD every play with, maybe, one stiff-arm.

Belichick and Brady coming off a loss scares me. Just trying to get through this 4 game stretch 2-2.

Yeah, I don't know about this one. Was '06 the last time New England was here? When they just went 5 wide all game and annihilated us on national TV.

Hopefully this time is different.

I want to say we'll be able to win because we're at home and all that. But I bet the Patriots haven't lost back to back games in like 10 years or something crazy like that.

Just hoping for a close game, I think Brady/Belichick pull all the stops to avoid falling into the 0-2 hole.

Oh and I expect Revis to follow Cordarrelle for most of the game.

Has nothing to do with pulling out all the stops. That suggests New England in some way held back in week one. Game is going to come down to better tackling and putting pressure on the QB when on defense. Doesn't matter the other team's QB is, or who you have in your secondary. If you continue to allow an NFL QB to stand in the pocket all day he's going to burn you.

Offense has to figure out a number of things. Offensive line rotations, Brady and his receivers have to get on the same page, learn to play to their strength (run the football), have everyone healthy at the same time so we can see what this offense is actually capable of. Not going very far if Gronkowski and Edelman are the only two guys producing who aren't running backs. Someone else has to step up because Brady can't keep forcing the ball to those two.

Patriots have a lot of things to correct and figure our before they can go all out.

Danny Amendola still play in New England? ****ing waste.

Re: Week 2: New England Patriots (0-1) at Minnesota Vikings (1-0)

Well what I meant by that was I believe they will go into this game with more of a sense of urgency than usual for a Week 2 game. Meaning they might have some off-the cuff trick plays, fake punts, go for it on 4th downs against the grain of logic more.

After reading some of what Patriots' fans are saying in other message boards it seems like there's a sense of desperation, and that there's a lot of wrongs that usually take longer than One week to be corrected going on. Maybe the Vikings have more of a chance than what I originally thought in this one.

Better game plan against Patterson. I think the Vikings have a great chance to go 2-0.
