Week 2: NY Jets(1-0) @ Green Bay Packers(0-1)

Jets' Ground Game did whatever they wanted against Oakland while the Packers forgot last week that in order to prevent the opposing team from getting positive yards that you have to actually tackle the ball carrier.

Hopefully Lacy and Bulaga are good to go this week. Oh and please blitz and blitz often, Rex.

Re: Week 2: NY Jets(1-0) @ Green Bay Packers(0-1)

The Jets, albeit sloppily, beat the Raiders in a game that should have been far less close. Geno Smith seems to have made some progress but is still developing. Green Bay got beaten up by Seattle, but should be motivated to win here. The Jets will fall back to the familiar .500% that they're familiar with. Yet, a Jets victory wouldn't totally shock me; the Packers got torched on the ground by Seattle, and the Jets like to run the ball. If the Packers can't improve their run defense, the Jets will have to rely less on Geno Smith and that could spell a Jets victory. I predict a Packers win, though. Despite a good amount of blitzing, Rodgers will torch the Jets' paper-thin secondary.

No reason why Rodgers shouldn't slice the Jets secondary apart in this one.

Having Lacy banged up and the starting RT out may lessen the final score differential in this one but I'm not sure how the Jets can pull this out.

I think Aaron Rodgers goes back to being the QB of old this week, and has one of those 20/25, 325 yards, 3 TD type performances.

Packers win their home opener.

I'd like to see Brad Jones benched.. I think clay has a multiple sack game. Genoa turns ball over at least once. Packers win

Looks like the RT practiced on a limited basis. I wouldn't put him out there against this Jets front line at risk of getting re-injured because they're gonna throw the kitchen sink at him.

Milliner may also be limited at CB for the Jets.

Interesting stat for Geno: he completed half of his passes vs. the Raiders at or behind the line of scrimmage. Screen game is cool but we're going to have to air it out against a Packers D that is going to be looking to stop the run.

Geno is prone to mistakes so this should be an interesting one.

Like I said, please blitz and blitz often.

His best bet would be to keep this game in 14-17 pt range because if he tries to make this a shootout, it won't turn out good for him.
