That makes no sense unless your argument is that the NFL believes Pit/Car or Chi/NYJ would be a more marketable/competitive matchup.

It's a marketing slam dunk to schedule the previous Super Bowl matchup (which I think I saw has only happened 3 times previously) as a primetime game regardless of what happened last year.

You bring up the casual fans, they don't even remember what happened last year. Ask them what they remember from the SB and they will probably tell you their favorite commercial.

And?

The last time the Steelers played the Panthers they won 27-3. Completely irrelevant.

That wasnt in the super bowl. Talk about irrelevant.

The question beeing posed in the thread isn't why Pit/Car its why not a SB rematch. I attempted provide a theory for the latter. If you disagree with me fine, but provide reasons and maybe interject your own theory instead of constantly trolling me for no reason please

Of course as soon as I post that Wilson hits the 39 yard TD pass.

Credit where credit is due.

That was even defended perfectly. Just a perfect throw and catch.

Yea, Talib had good coverage.

D. Thomas just looks off today, looks almost like his head isn't fully in the game.
