This bad football on thursday game rhetoric always makes me laugh. As if there arent piss poor games on Sundays and Mondays as well. If the NFL were to cancel games just because the product was poor, the whole 2014 Giants season would be cancelled.

Just dont watch if it bothers you that bad. Is it really so shocking that a bad Bucs team got destroyed by Atlanta? Or is the game happening on a Thursday the real problem? If this game ended 14-56 on a sunday afternoon, you wouldnt hear a peep. Be mad at the bad matchups not the time of the week its played.

But at least on Sunday it's a level playing field for both teams. Often times on Thursday night it's not. I haven't watched either game this year, but it seems like a greedy move on the leagues part

If a team has to travel across the country to play in TNF I would agree its a major disadvantage to the road team. But these are rivalry games. Short distance and you should know your opponent. To each his own.

TNF isn't the problem, it's the matchups. But even still, let's not act like if there are 2 evenly matched teams those games aren't ugly or boring either.

Same goes for MNF as well.

Re: Week 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (1-1)

I'm not even sure the day of the week football is played on matters at all. There are always going to be good and bad games. Heck I think I saw something where around 5 teams that missed the playoffs the year before will make the playoffs in the current year. I'm not sure there's a way to avoid the problem.

Back to the game, I was extremely happy for Devin Hester. I did get up and cheer as he ran that punt in. He will always be one of my favorite Bears. Although I do hope that he can avoid the end zone when he plays the Bears.

I have no idea what this means.

How was it not an even playing field? Both teams played last Sunday and had the same amount of time to prepare.

Would the playing field have been more fair if they were playing this Sunday????
