Tom Brady and the Patriots have won three Super Bowls since that KC game when many people proclaimed the Patriots were finished and Brady was done. Oops.

To be fair, they hadn’t been as bad as 9-5 (after the MIA L) in a long time. 2008, the Matt Cassel year was the last time they finished with as many as 5 losses. But still foolish to believe they are “done.” Their “done” is still better then every other franchise’s “good.”

Glad for the bump though. The Patriots falling apart has become a story ever since this game, it feels like. Call me when Brady or BB calls it quits. 20 years of evidence says every other moving part doesn’t matter.
