I thought his job was to help the team win regardless of what that entails.

I would argue that by deciding to just lay back and watch a ball on the ground that would cost his team a win if it wasn't recovered by him or one of his teammates it's his job to do whatever he can to get it.

He decided to lay back and watch.

No doubt and I don't disagree.

I just can't use Fitzpatricks mistake as a reason to ignore him not wanting to get dirty to try and give them a chance to still win the game.

Extremely selfish to just give up.

For all of Watt's exploits, his team still lost and gave up almost 400 yards passing.

Luck was able to hold the ball long enough for a lot of downfield pass plays.

Most teams wouldn't be able to give a defensive player a $100 million contract. If the Texans had a franchise QB who would command a $20 million a year contract, they probably would have had a harder time justifying the contract they gave to Watt.

Watt is getting double and even tripled team. Nobody is helping him out. Hopefully that'll change when Clowney gets back.

Didn't watch the game but judging from the score I'm guessing it was a good game.

Guess that means we no longer need to get rid of TNF, right?

It looked like it was going to be another blow out, but Houston did a really nice job fighting their way back in. It was easily the best Thursday night game so far this year, though that isn't saying much.

I think Indy had like a 24-0 or 17-0 lead in the 1st quarter though. I wasn't reading through the thread at the time, but I'm guessing people were freaking out about the game by that point.
