Can't wait for this game. Some may say this Rivalry is dead but I say NAY! The Dallas Cowboys Washington Red***** rivalry is on full throttle for me. Every year when the regular season schedules are released I circle their prime time affair. Beating the Red***** this year with Desean Jackson there will make this potential victory just sweeter. McCoy better have prepared some magic to escape Dallas with a win in his return to the LoneStar State.

I've never heard anyone refer to this rivalry as dead...

Admittedly, it has taken a back-seat (in terms of relevance) to Dallas v Philadelphia...but just because Washington has been awful for the past ten or so years doesn't mean the rivalry is dead.

Ultimately, whatever the season holds, as a Cowboys fan, I want to sweep Philadelphia and Washington...even if Dallas went 4-12, I'd have reason to be happy.

No the rivalry isn't dead. Never will be I wouldn't think.
Other than really the Giant's (Super Bowl win) there's no one in the East that's been a stellar performer recently..
Cowboys are on their way though it seems.

They're still there for the fans of the NFC East teams. The difference is the average NFL fan doesn't care as much anymore due to the perception that the division is so weak.
