I expect the Bills to keep the Jets running game in check so the game should come down to what they can do to Geno on third and long, and forcing turnovers in general. The Jets are in a similar boat but I have more faith in Orton/Watkins/Woods carving up their pass defense. Jets get a bonus edge for being at home.

I'll take the Bills by 2.
Forgot about Decker. Well, so they have two threats. hopefully the pass rush shows up and can help out the secondary. Hmm, yeah. Both teams will be forced to pass and I think we have the better pass offense.

Re: Week 8: Buffalo Bills (4-3) @ New York Jets (1-6)

If the Bills can contain the Jets running game while at the same time applying pressure to Geno I could see this being a long day for Geno. The thing is, the Bills have been primarily a run first team (though that's changing subtly under Orton at QB) and with Spiller and Jackson out you're not going to get the real big chunk yardage unless the O-Line does a real good job with the run blocking as Boobie Dixon is pretty much a smash mouth north/south runner. I also don't expect to see too many targets to the RBs in the passing game. That being said, if Orton can eliminate some of the frustrating INTs and the guys can hang onto the ball I expect Watkins, Woods and the TEs to get the ball a lot.

This will be a tight one as its a divisional matchup but I expect the Bills to take it by a score of 27-21.

I don't know, this is definetly a game we should win. Still not quite sold on Orton yet. We have so much talent on our offense we shouldn't have problems getting more than 20 points this season wich we haven't done since we beat Miami in week 2. Luckily our defense has improved greatly this year and keeping us in games to just "get by". I hate to be a pessimist but I think this will eventually bite us.

No respect for the Bills this week from the media. Everyone picking the Jets and I believe they're favored by 3 as well.

Dat officiating.

To elaborate, the ref calls DPI. The ball is then set, the offense is lined up, the ref blows the whistle and calls defensive holding prior to the pass on the previous play.
