Week 14: Indianapolis Colts (8-4) @ Cleveland Browns (7-5)

Almost certainly going to be Johnny's first game as a starter in the NFL, at home, against one of the weakest defenses in the NFL. So, if he wants to make a huge first impression, this is his chance. I wouldn't hold my breath, but now would be a great time for him to do such a thing.

OTOH, The Colts have a virtual stranglehold on a playoff spot due to their weak division. What they lack on defense, they make up for with an absolutely stunning passing offense. Virtually by putting the ball in the air so much, Luck does seem to be giving the ball up just a little too much at times.

Ultimately, the Colts and Browns is actually a pretty good matchup. By the numbers, the Colts do everything well that the Browns do well, and the Browns run the ball well while the Colts cannot defend the rush. Their is a scenario that the Browns win this game with Johnny playing outside of his mind and they outscore the Colts in a huge game. I don't see it happening, though.

Honestly if Vontae Davis is a no go(got a concussion last week) I could see the Browns finding a lot of success throwing it, regardless of who the QB is. We saw what Big Ben did to that defense without Davis(although they also mixed up their formations quite a bit as well).

I agree there is a real chance the Browns could steal it. They have the pieces, but in the end I gotta favor the Colts with Luck over the Browns with Hoyer or Manziel starting his first game.

Wow. Pettine is an idiot. Way to piss off not only your fanbase, but your lockerroom as well.

According to Glazer and others, the Locker Room wanted Hoyer to start.

Can see Hoyer having a short leash in this game he has turned into mr turnover the past few games... some games we had chances of winning unti his turnovers.

and with both sides struggling this could be another blow out game like colts beat the redskins. thus leading yet into another qb controversy.
