Superbowl XX. Bears 46 Pats 10 was a tough day.

The 18-1 loss to the Giants was also tough because of the undefeated season was so close. Asante Samuel letting the game clinching Int go through his fingers. David Tyree. But coming of the heels of 3 SB wins, tough to complain too much about that one.

Bob Stanley in the '86 World Series was also horrific. (Most remember Buckner, but I have more issue with Stanely....different topic for a different thread).

Re: What's the worst loss you've experienced as a fan

1. 2015 Wildcard vs. Dallas
2. 2008 Week 17 vs. Green Bay
3. 2013 Week 15 vs. Baltimore
4. 2013 Week 16 vs. New York
5. 2013 Week 12 vs. Tampa Bay

If I were older I would put some of the playoff losses to Green Bay on here. I had to go with this year's wildcard at number one over the 0-16 year only because this was the first time I felt like we could do something in the playoffs. If I pushed this list to 10, good chance you see the year 2013 a lot more.

The Falcons loss

The Super Bowl loss

I was only 2 during the afc championship in 84, so that doesn't count.

I think the Falcons playoff loss bugs me more than Steelers loss because the Falcons game we had it won and tried to ice Matt Bryant. He missed the first, made the second

Jags 62 Dolphins 7

I hate the way Dan Marino's career ended.

I'm a guy that likes to get historical games and such but I don't think I'll ever watch that game again. I may not like the Dolphins all that much these days but I have a healthy amount of respect for Shula and Marino. At least Shula's last game (while a loss) wasn't such a drubbing and it was against a historical rival. Marino OTOH got trounced by a team that had barely been around.

Baseball-Bartman- Enough said

Football- Super Bowl loss vs Denver, 4th and 26, Favre throwing 6 int's vs Rams in playoffs, 2007 Giants, and this years loss to Seattle is recent and still stings a bit.

Time heals all wounds.

Same game but I think it's more appropriately called the "Cundiff/Evans" game... shouldn't have even come to that FG.

There was also some Pats evil empire shenanigans too (read as "refs screwed up again, whether intentional by the time keeper or not). They play clock didn't reset and the FG team had to rush to set up and try the attempt.
