Nope. I can watch the Browns on NFL Sunday Ticket which is on my local CBS station. The local FOX station has a soccer game on right now.

Man, that's screwed up. DTV wasn't able to resolve it? Don't know how they could screw that up. It's like they still have your Chicago area address as your service address in their system.

They said they would escalate the issue and I should call back if it wasn't resolved by Wednesday. They checked and all of the billing info is Ohio so I should be good to go. I moved to Ohio in June and lived in Kansas the 9 months previous to that. I haven't lived in Chicago for a full year now.

By the way, I can watch the Chiefs game as well.

The audio is awful but other than that I love this thing.

Watching Seattle/St. Louis, I get a notification of a highlight (Ameer Abdullah's TD run). I hit X to play the highlight. Highlight plays instantly, I see the run in HD, and then it ends and goes right back to the game I was watching. Beautiful.

In case anyone else ran into the same issue...

DTV: It likely won't happen again; if it does call us immediately at 1-800-531-5000 or chat w/ us at http://bit.ly/1GeLvQI . We will escalate the issue to our broadcasting center if need be. They have been made aware of the issue this week so they should be able to prevent it from happening again.

Me: Was I the only one to have this issue?

I would just be interested in knowing why it likely won't happen again if the reason it happened isn't known...

DTV: Oh no there were several other people who had the issue. To be frank with you, we usually have glitches to work out the first week but we normally have no issues the second week and on.

Check the install/service location. That is different and when I moved it took a while to finally get that updated. Thankfully it was within the same area.

After the first week, very happy with my purchase. Aside from the so so audio, very impressed. Money well spent.....assuming the Titans don't turn into a dumpster fire.
