Week 1: Green Bay Packers(0-0) @ Chicago Bears(0-0)

Not much else needs to be said about this rivalry other than the following words:

Bears still suck.

Packers by about 4 TDs.

Hope their season ends in similar fashion to last year.

Jay Cutler will be our MVP once again. He will find Haha Clintin-Dix wide open and for at least 1 TD, Jay will throw 3 TDs, never mind what team catches them. Packers win 38-10. That's my prediction anyway.

Watch out, Bears defense much improved. John Fox and Vic Fangio are great defensive minds.
Not saying Chicago's gonna win but the Packers shouldn't take them too lightly.

I also think John Fox's offensive system might actually help Cutler minimize mistakes (Fox is most conservative coach Cutler has had). When Cutler doesn't turn the ball over, Bears actually have a chance of winning.

It should be closer than people expect, I wouldn't be surprised if Chicago at least covered the spread. Either that, or my hopes for the Bears are way too high for this season.

Joe Buck's head gets a little more square every year.

I agree. I think Jay Cutler and Adam Gase are a really good combination and expect him to be better.

Haven't followed enough to know much about the defense but I wouldn't really hang my hat too much on the "John Fox is a defensive genius" bit. He's not anything spectacular there. Is defensive success was about personnel, not so much scheme.

I do expect this to be closer than some anticipate but I did go with the Packers.
