Lol yes I know but I should've been more clear. His talent and physical limitations as a qb could lend itself to a team with the perfect scheme for him allowing him to play in this league as an adequate backup. But that is not the NFL so you are correct.

The read option scheme has been shown to have some success in Denver and now in Philly. Philly doesn't want him so he has no shot to play in the league with his skill set.

Edit: Pending injury in Philly as you've already stated.

These guys have been backups for years and are all worse than Tebow, yet Tebow can't keep a job in this league. Something is wrong. Tebow is not THAT bad.

I can't believe I'm saying this - let's keep the discussion in this thread about Tebow, please.

Thread was clearly on a hopeless tangent. Not sure what your really trying to accomplish changing the context of that direction by CM Hooe.

Hell, based on Chip's actions since he's been in Philly, he seems to love all the media attention he can get.
If not for him being somewhat of a distraction, then what possible reason would they have for cutting him?

Problem is the nfl has adjusted to read option. Which is why you're seeing it less and less and with less success. I don't see how you can consistently win in the league any more with a read option based offense. And if you fall behind in a game you're always going to have to be able to push the ball from the pocket.

I like Tebow but I think his ceiling at the nfl level is cleverly limited. Now if the nfl ever catches up with the 21st century and expands rosters there maybe a place in the league for him as a situational player.

They decided the other qb's were better than Tebow?

Specifically, they decided that Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, and Stephen Morris - claimed off waivers from Jacksonville - were better options than Tim Tebow.

Personally, I have a hard time believing Morris is in the NFL at all, but Bradford and Sanchez are obviously better than Tebow, but Morris I would have to assume is better at actual quarterbacking at the NFL level - reading defenses, changing protections, making throws - than Tebow.
