So what happened, losing Kubiak has killed the running game and losing a key WR has cratered their passing game?

And on defense, losing a CB and Suggs made their defense bad?

They were thought to be one of the top AFC teams at the beginning of the season.

lol, there have been a lot more issues than that. The oline has had issues since the preseason. It's better but still an issue. Losing a starting WR is definitely a problem when the other guy starting is pushing 40 and has 4 broken ribs. But lets also not forget they drafted a WR high and he hasn't even sniffed a practice field yet. They're also working in two young TEs, one who's also been battling injury, bc Pitta's out for the year. And with all that said, they've put up plenty of stats passing the ball.

The defense took a hit last year, still feeling effects of losing Ray and Reed. The pass rush and ability to contain the run helped... but then they lost Ngata. Week 1, they lose Suggs. Last week Dumervil gets hurt. Every member of the secondary besides Jimmy Smith is dropping like flies, and the safeties were already suspect bc Elam has been a huge bust.

And I'm sure I'm forgetting some people but this team was never deep enough to be a serious threat. Everybody stays healthy and the rookies play to expectation, and they belonged in the conversation for the division... but the exact opposite of that is what's happening.

This year is an example of what happens when pretty much everything goes wrong. Injuries where they could least afford them, injuries everywhere really, young guys not living up to expectations, free agents brought in to bolster weaknesses not living up to expectations, etc.
