Correctly (and they deserve credit) the Refs figures this out and put 5 seconds on the clock. But had he not fumbled the ball what would've happened of Tampa went to spike and still had more time than they should've????

I can't even give the refs credit (it's not their fault so I'm not blaming them either) bc he just came up with that 5 second number off the top of his head, since it really didn't matter. I guess credit for pointing out the flaw even though it didn't matter.

Re: Week 7: Bucs @ Redskins

Considering that it was Jeff Triplett I think them being aware of the issue is a huge win for everyone. As for how they came up with 5 seconds. I'd imagine the conversation went something like the Aaron Rodgers State Farm commercial, only they kept the mics off.
