Re: Week 7: Cowboys @ Giants

How does Dallas run for 300 yards and still think Cassel needs to throw the ball. This one falls on Garret. Cassel simply didnt need to pass it when your world class oline is mauling the Giants.

The Giants offense is waaaaay worse than it should be. The league has figured it out is an understatement. Odell Beckham is the only "wrinkle" in it. I dont think Cruz and Beatty make any difference when, or rather, if they return.

Re: Week 7: Cowboys @ Giants

We will be 2-6 by the time we play Tampa.
I am not counting on winning that game.

Potentially we will be 2-7 by the time Tony is
ready to come back. No reason to bring him back IMO

Re: Week 7: Cowboys @ Giants

this game is the Garrett era to me...

He's always seemed to believe that any ol' QB can sling it 40 times a game with a high rate of success.

I can't count how many times I've watched him pass the team into defeat.

You do know that Linehan calls the plays?

Re: Week 7: Cowboys @ Giants

So....

What was up with that Giants run in the 2nd half (think it was Vereen)...

Long run, end up inside the 5 or thereabouts...appeared to have had the ball stripped at the end of the run...even one official indicated it was a Dallas ball.

No Replay
No Discussion

Must've been pretty cut and dry, but there was no reaction from anyone except the Cowboys around/recovering the "fumble" AND the official....

Right...but outside of last year...it sure looks the same to me.

Ever since he (Garrett) took over, the team has not seemed "right" between the ears. It's almost painfully evident their ship is rarely tight enough for sustained success...whether penalties or turnovers or bad clock management...in addition to an offensive mindset that leads to lots of 3rd and long situations...

Too many games like this. I think it's the third against the Giants just in the past4-5 years in which Dallas has essentially handed them a win.
