Week 7 MNF: Ravens at Cardinals

I bet the schedule makers were drooling over this high powered primetime match up when they first wrote it down.

Unfortunately, it looks to be a huge dud, as the Ravens defense is awful and specifically against the pass. Just about everything in this match up should point to a Ravens loss... so that may be the reason they win (sorry, that's all I got... no chance Baltimore wins this game).

A win here and Baltimore can still go 11-5!

In all likelihood though, next week I will be saying a win here and Baltimore can still go 10-6.

John has a right to be mad at the refs. Johnson's forward progress was stopped and I don't think there is a question about that.

However, he should be more mad at his team. You should play to the whistle, especially if you are not a good team to begin with.

Refs have been very poor tonight.

Eh, you play to the whistle too, and there wasn't one. He stopped and I don't think anyone would be surprised if the play would have been stopped - but it wasn't.

Here is my issue with how the refs handled this:

What if a Raven player came and laid a big hit on Johnson just as Williams was finishing his gator roll and about to his releasing Johnson? What are the odds that such a play would result in a flag for a late hit?

Oh yeah, that missed extra point will end up costing Arizona the game.

Edit: Obviously I was kidding at the time, but what is this? A big play that goes in Baltimore's favor?
Not sure how to handle this.
