QB scramble in 2k3...

I actually dislike the game because of this! I can't scramble with the QB if my life depended on it! And no it is not that I need more practice, it is because every Q is the same. Vick is like a RB playing QB yet Garcia runs the same way, what is up with that!? They always fumble when they get hit so it is basically run as far as you can then slide. It is just stupid!

I can't stand the juke in the game either! It is probably the dumbest thing I have ever seen! They look like they are doing the electric slide! Madden doesn't have a good juke either! I think both games need to redo their jukes. Have you watch Marshall or Vick play? You can't do any of those things in these games! Madden's juke is too big (and their little oone is too small) and 2k3 just needs a new one!

On offense, press R1 while controlling the QB, then repeatedly tap X to run faster and scramble. I scramble quite a bit with Kordell, it is the only he can do in this game! Anyway, pressing R1 makes the QB be able to run the ball like a normal back on pass plays, releasing it when still behind the line of scrimmage brings the passing icons back up.

The above is for the PS2. And yes, the slide looks silly. I haven't seen to many fumbles though, but I have gotten Kordell injured a couple of times!

I feel your pain man, I couldn't enjoy the game until I edited the QB ratings. They have Vick at a 83 speed rating, which is ridiculous, so I upped his speed, his scrambling, and his secure ball rating. I also did the same for other QB's who will run from time to time. The secure ball is key, as it is extremely low for all of the QB's.

The good thing is it is fixable.....the bad thing is it shouldn't have to be. You know how much trouble it is to edit every freakin QB in the game? Then everyone coming out of college every franchise season? It's BS!

The # of fumbles is rediculas, and what makes it worse is that they rairly slide correctly. In my franchise I never really ran with my QB, but for online play it is annoying seeing a big gap that I should scrammble through, but know I can't because it'll likely end up a turnover.

I like to scramble up the middle after I've been rolling out a few times (tho usually just to pass). The DL will go fan to contain you and there are big gaps up the middle.
