Week 10 MNF: Houston Texans (3-5) @ Cincinnati Bengals (8-0)

Bengals 2nd primetime game in a row of 3 (@ Cards next Sunday night). I don't expect this to be necessarily easy (oh who am I kidding, yes I do)...but the Bengals should win comfortably. I expect Watt to get a sack on Dalton because we held him to 0 last year. I'm sure that's personal motivation for him. Just hoping to make it out fully healthy in preparation for the Cards game.

Bengals 38
Texans 16

Nah. They have no running game and Hopkins is the only scary player they have on offense. Their D gives up 26 PPG and we are arguably a top 2 offense. It's at home...etc.

And this is sports, where anything can happen.

Go watch Superbowl XLI and come back and talk to me. The Patriots were in the same scenario. The Patriots were 18-0 and had already beaten the Giants earlier in the season. Or the 2004 ALCS, the Yankees were up 3-0 had slaughtered the Red Sox 19-3 or something in game 3. And then the Red Sox won 4 straight games against the Yankees.

We're talking about a regular season game here, it's not even that big of a deal. I made my prediction and I'm sticking to it, no need to be up in arms about it. My Bengals are on fire right now and I'm not worried about a home game against the Texans. I'll be singing a different tune @ AZ though.

I don't care what happens as long as Jeremy Hill snaps out of his putrid 9 week slump. What a waste of a pick he has been.

Houston is dedicated to reestablishing the run game following their bye week, conveniently against a team ranked dead last in yards allowed per attempt. With tackle Duane Brown returning for Houston, I expect the Texans to control clock and pound Alfred Blue for 25-35 carries.

Think this one will be closer than advertised.

Bengals 34
Texans 30

Gio Bernard has been tearing it up. IMO he should be the starter.
