Re: Week 10: Dallas @ Tampa

All I know is if Romo comes back and all of a sudden we look like the team we are supposed to look like then that will all but show that Jason Garrett is useless as a head coach, even though him being winless this year and last year without Romo says it loud enough already.

I know a lot of fans want to blame the defense since the defense seems to always be on the field when the game is loss, BUT our defense is actually pretty damn good they are only giving up like 2 offensive touchdowns per game, if the offense was even a decent offense the defense would be getting very high praise. Unfortunately the defense receives no help from the offense, But Jason Garrett is supposed to be this offensive minded genius so says Jerry Jones.

This teams future looks very bleak if Romo only has a few good years left, and we have nothing else to rely on but him staying healthy.

Very interesting stat about dem Boys. In games where Tony Romo DOESN'T play and Greg Hardy DOES play the cowboys are winless...

I see what you did there, but you can say that about any player on the team since they haven't won without Romo on the field.

Yeah, but Hardy didn't play the first 2 games.

True, and he didn't play the next two games but they lost those too, outside of Byron Jones Hardy is the only guy making plays with any type of consistency.

And to be honest those first two games the Cowboys won were far from impressive and Romo wasn't looking like an Elite QB, first game the Giants gave to us because of a bone head play call at the end, and the second game was the best defensive game the defense played all year and Romo didn't even finish the game.

Re: Week 10: Dallas @ Tampa

Bottom line: 7 games without Romo produced 5 half time leads and 0 wins.

Re: Week 10: Dallas @ Tampa

Gotta add "games without Dez" and "games without Lee" and really "games without Murray" and probably run numbers of games without any number of those combinations.

With that said, it is funny that it's yet another year when the Boys were preseason contenders before real life came and screwed that all up. Personally the blame imo is on the GM, but we know he won't be fired.

One day, when I care just a bit more...I will look up the number of 2nd half leads Garrett has allowed to slip away.

I don't know that I'd be able to find all the instances in which his love affair with passing the ball resulted in the kind of clock management that loses games.

Was in the car, listening on the radio when Dallas had that last 3rd and short. "Cassell looking to pass..." I turned off the radio as quickly as I could.

I'll put money on it. With that staff, I could do better job. Let your lolz flow if you want, but I'm sticking by it.
