Week 11 MNF Buffalo Bills (5-4) at New England Patriots (9-0)

(Secret game of the week)

Hopefully we get to see some of this. Most Bills fans have written this off as a loss already. I don't have a lot of hope, but maybe this week Rex can focus on covering a tight end and stopping screens. Perhaps he sends a few checks to the referees to keep an eye on pick plays. It'd be pretty amazing to end the undefeated record and go to 6-4 in Foxboro, lol, on MNF.

What are the key matchups? The Bills run game just put 148 yards of rushing on the best rushing defense in the league. The Patriots come in at number two (perhaps because teams have thrown a lot against them when behind? dunno, they're #22 in passing).

Ronald Darby and Stephon Gilmore have played insane this year. Whoever covers the slot and the TE needs to step up.

The Bills have 11 days to prepare and rest up. Hopefully it means something.

Patriots playing to stay ahead in the race for playoff home field. Bills fighting for a chance to play on Wild Card Weekend. Under the lights in prime time. Count me in.

I feel like this is a game that the Bills actually have a decent shot at winning IF (and it's a big "if") they bring the same mentality on defense that they did against the Jets. Darby, Gilmore and McKelvin have to step up their game and the entire defense has to put it up a notch as well.

Offensively, I think Buffalo needs to be a little more dynamic. I'm not asking for crazy gadget plays or anything but you know as well as I do that Bellichick is going to key in on the Bills run game and make Taylor beat them. This is why it was so encouraging to see Watkins be a big part of the gameplan a couple weeks ago. If they can get the ball to him and force New England to be a little more honest in defensive coverage than that will open up the run game some.

If Rex can keep the distractions at a minimum and just concentrate on game planning for New England than I think they've got a good shot at beating the Pats.

Week 11 MNF Buffalo Bills (5-4) at New England Patriots (9-0)

Looks like no Jamie Collins again. Missed practice yet again with a mysterious illness. Curious to know what the heck is wrong with him.

Promising for Denver. Doubt he will be in game shape for Monday after not eating or training.

We have Steratore this week, hopefully he and his crew can stay with his average.

One matchup I neglected to mention before - Pats pressure vs Bills Oline. The Bills Oline has played well the last two weeks, hopefully they can put together a game plan that keeps Tyrod upright most of the game.

And another you failed to mention...the Bills pressure vs. the Patriots O-Line. If Vollmer isn't back this week (might be practiced yesterday) we could be in for a tougher game.
