Depending on the $$$ I can agree with you. If he's getting a 1M or so raise not really. But less than that I agree with you.

Re: 2016 Black Monday

Apparently, GM Ryan Grigson isn't going anywhere either.

He could get that raise somewhere else, and from a more stable work environment.

Re: 2016 Black Monday

I can't wrap my head around why Indianapolis thinks that Ryan Grigson is the answer at GM. Keeping Pagano at least makes a little bit of sense, but keeping both is a guarantee of mediocrity. Grigson micromanages the team, makes personnel decisions over Pagano and pisses away draft picks. To top it off, Pagano takes the heat for him. Insisting that Trent Richardson play to change the narrative of that being a downright terrible trade is a fireable offense. The Vontae Davis trade is about the only thing that he's done that looks good as of right now.

If I'm Andrew Luck, I'm hitting the market and getting as far away from Indy as I can. The guy deserves to be in an organization that is committed to surrounding him with talent, not whatever Grigson is doing.

Don't understand this at all.. Even as an extremely causal Colts fan.

Re: 2016 Black Monday

Did you see how well it worked out for Philly giving personnel control to Chip Kelly.

Not sure if this was a response to my post or not. I wasn't suggesting that personnel decisions be made by Pagano, but rather by a GM not named Ryan Grigson. There's got to be someone out there that is qualified enough to become the new Colts GM.

Doing things like making your coach play Trent Richardson (c'mon), then making him answer to the media about it all because you don't want fans to come at you for giving up a first round pick for him is ridiculous. Stopping Pagano from making disciplinary actions, benching guys, giving young guys more opportunities, heck, drafting Phillip Dorsett in the first round. All things Grigson shouldn't be doing

I can see how you'd get the coach/personnel control assumption from my post, though that wasn't my intention. When I said personnel decisions I was referring to Grigson deciding how much playing time guys were getting, something I believe is the job of the coach. That's my mistake, definitely could have said that differently or explained better.

The guys in the locker room love Pagano, and that's easy to see. I just don't see how not moving on from Grigson makes sense at all.

Re: 2016 Black Monday

Irsay must still be doing... Never mind he's just plan ol dum.

Grigson can't draft for ****, can't fit the right pieces in free agency either and has a toxic relationship with the coach but stays. ****ing stupid.

Sent from the sewer of my sports teams

The irony of calling someone dumb while misspelling the word is not lost on me.
