5? 6? That first one vs. Montana and their playoff games. Guy is a poor man's Blaine Gabbert.

If Dallas drafts him, we should be very well situated to draft Josh Rosen when he declares

Re: 2016 NFL Draft

Well, you definitely watched more than me. I only watched 3. I guess I find the comparison to a bust to be a little ridiculous seeing as how he didn't look bad in any of the games I saw. I understand saying he may be overhyped or overrated, but a bust? Just don't understand that.

Re: 2016 NFL Draft

Give me Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack, or DeForest Buckner at #4.

Then give me another defensive player in the second round.

And another in the third round.

I'll take my chances with Trevone Boykin on day three as a developmental quarterback and also a street free agent.

...or maybe Dallas can take Laremy Tunsil, the tackle from Ole Miss, for the hell of it.

A whole offensive line of first round talent...That would be awesome haha...Tyron, Zach, Travis, Collins, Tunsil...Yes please.

There are zero similiarities between Wentz and Gabbert. None, they don't match up physically or even in the intangibles.

And you like Rosen? Ok, nevermind, you've said enough.

DON'T WANT:

1. Carson Wentz

2. Jared Goff

It's a bad QB class. It's just a repeat of Cam's QB class without a Newton-level talent in it. These guys are all bums. The fact that Wentz is getting trotted out there as a potential draft pick disgusts me. Guy is going to be a bust.

I'd be more OK with trying to win it all for a year or 2 and then tanking a season to get Josh Rosen. That's my kind of succession plan, anyway.
Wentz is the real deal. Watch more.

He didn't play in the playoff games, he was hurt. He only played in the title game. Only played in 6 full games all year.

Title game was coming off a serious wrist injury to his throwing hand and hadn't played in 2 months, still lit it up. NFL throws all over the field, and is athletic to boot.

I admittedly have watched zero of Wentz so I have some homework to do.

What I had read about him on Twitter from @NFLosophy , fwiw, is that Wentz doesn't process information quickly and he's a "see it then throw it" quarterback who lacks anticipation and field vision. Called him a "multiple-year project" and "late-round to UDFA" caliber player. Feel free to tell me how baseless that is.

EDIT: for some reason my phone said you quoted me, it appears you didn't actually do that. lol

Absolutely baseless. Sounds like someone who's basing either on his first start ever or someone who's never watched him play and basing it on him playing at the FCS level. Watch the title game. His first 5 throws or so debunk that breakdown.

I see multi-year project, because there's a jump in level of play, but I see that for just about every QB coming out.
