I will say this for Bak.. his second half of 2015 was really solid... but the rest leaves too much to be desired for me. He's not great in the run game, and he gets beat way too often by those elite DEs to warrant top-10 $$

He is only 24, and I'm stuck with him apparently, so all I can do is hope for the best.

.. it will be very interesting how he will hold up this year without an All-Pro next to him.

Well apparently the Panthers have cut Bene Benwikere.

Gettleman is scrambling to cover for the idiotic decision to let Norman walk. Bene got torched by Julio, but so did everyone else. Seems like a panic move and doesn't really make sense.

I don't get it. Your secondary is weak, so what do you do? You make it weaker. I think the main reason the pass defense is so bad is because they have a hard time generating a pass rush.

That's part of the reason, but their pressure percentage on the QB is the exact same as it was last year (according to an article from Bill Barnwell this week). They're just not as good at actually covering.

Bradberry is out this week, too, so it looks like McClain and Worley will be starting. No idea who plays the nickel. Maybe Teddy Williams. Zack Sanchez was signed from the practice squad, so maybe he sees some reps.
