Week 1: Indianapolis Colts (0-0) @ LA Rams (0-0)

I'm upset that this is the late game I'm getting on CBS.

BUT

I do wanna see if McVay can turn Goff into something resembling a #1 overall pick and what Wade Phillips does with the defense that already had some terrifying players on it. I wanna see if my old buddy Sammy is gonna have an insane year away from Buffalo.

For as bad as the Rams have been over the last decade, I'm way less excited about the Colts here. Even if Luck was playing, he'd be the only reason to give a **** on Indy's side. The corpse of Frank Gore? TY Hilton is pretty exciting. I think Jack Doyle will have a big year as a TE1. Their defense is different... that's about the best you can say about that.

I'm buying some Rams hype. Still playing the Cards and Seahawks twice a year. Should be competent at least which will be nice to say for the first time in a while if you're an LA fan.

31-6 Rams

I expect the Rams to win this one easily though i'm not sure about their prospects overall this season. I'm most interested in seeing how Goff does with essentially the Bills WR corps of the last few years though LOL

As for Indy, hoo boy, they're a mess. Maybe they should've brought in a certain San Fran QB to help fill the gaps because I can't see a Tolzien led team winning any games while Luck is out.

It's amazing what happens when you have a coach who isn't stuck in the 1970s

This is the exact slaughter I thought it would be. I think it's partly Indy sucks and partly LA might be decent this season.

Helluva debut by McVay and the Rams.
