This one might get ugly for the Giants, especially going against that Defense.

Alright so that was definitely the right call to overturn the fumble these refs are starting to get on my nerves with these blatantly horrible calls.

That said can someone explain to me how that was ruled a catch after review because that makes absolutely no sense to me.

I don't think anyone understands the catch rules at this point.

My interpretation of that call was that definitely not a fumble and probably should have stood as a catch (as it did), but if that happened in the endzone for a touchdown it would somehow be ruled incomplete because the rules seem to differ between the general field of play and the endzone/sideline.

You are right there does seem to be a very different standard for a catch in the middle of the field than is for sideline or endzone and the inconsistency of the calls from the refs doesn't help.

My interpretation of the rule on that catch is that he did not maintain possession all the way to the ground seeing as it came out the moment his hand contacted the ground. I know the ground can't cause a fumble but it has been well established it can cause an incomplete pass so had he landed on his stomach per say and it came out after hitting the ground that way no way it would have been ruled complete.

They really need revisit to rule because as it is written can be interpreted widly.

On another note how is this patchwork Giants having their way with the Broncos. Not at all what anyone expected.

Not sure that's getting overturned, but I think C.J. Anderson got across the plane.
