re: XFL Discussion

This can work, but only if they start taking high school kids. If they offer to pay, some will go there instead of going to college.

re: XFL Discussion

I think the player pool would most likely be college players that go undrafted.

I do not think this league will actually ever kick off but if it does I would like them to use technology we've been talking about for years in the NFL such as using chip technology in the ball and pads to determine when are where the ball should be placed.

That's just one example but if they want to accomplish what I think they want to accomplish they will need to embrace technology the NFL is hesitant to embrace in order to succeed.

Even then it will shortlived but Vince will get what he wanted out of it.

re: XFL Discussion

They're asking people online about which 8 US cities they would want to see a team in.

I really think they should've gone outside of the US for teams. At least do something that'll make you stand out in a very big way, where even if XFL fails, it's something that could change pro sports in the future. A pro league with teams from USA, Mexico, Canada and possibly even England would be a nice thing to try.

If they do the 8 big name cities it will fail I still think they need to go to college towns.

I personally think it would be best to have a mixture of 4 big name cities & 4 not so big named cities. I also think that the 8 cities must cover the entire US from east coast to west coast.

Also, there should be no teams located close to any current NFL teams. That's my opinion on a possible way for success for the XFL to come back again. I still give this league a less than 50% chance to make it.
