Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread

I've said similar things so this isn't just because of tonight but i honestly think Mayfield is going to end up being the best QB of his class. The guy is showing his stuff tonight and he's hopefully bound to do bigger and better things.

Baker!

Fantastic. Shows the effect a QB can have when they’re moving the ball quickly and efficiently because if you just look at his stats they’re not unbelievable. <9 YPA and no TDs but Cleveland goes down without a fight with Tyrod.

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread

You could tell who the Browns players think is the better QB immediately when he came in.

I hope those bigger and better things are in Cleveland too. The Browns aren’t my team but the city’s starving for good sports teams with only the Indians left now.

His stats are pretty great unless we're strictly talking fantasy football. And I believe 3 of his 6 incompletions were drops of what would have been big gains.

Oh yeah his stats are great from the standpoint that he’s put up 200+ in two and a bit quarters and with the context too, especially if you watched the game but if somebody looked at his stats in the morning with no other info they’d wonder why everybody made a fuss of his debut.

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread

Yeah, Baker has shredded a pretty good Jets defense, even with his receivers dropping a few big plays. If we were to extrapolate his passing yards out to a full game length (dangerous, I know), he’d have around 400 yards passing. Pretty good stats, I’d say.
