I hear you on that and it looks like that decision is the deciding factor after that deep bomb just now.

Everyone is going to scrutinize McVay now.

I really don’t get the thought process. If you’re good enough to get this far with that offense; you’re not good enough to get 1 yard with your season on the line??

If in August you told a coach that he faces 4th and an inch to take a 4 point lead with a few minutes left against a HOF QB or tie the game, he'd tell you he goes for it every time. Put him in the that very spot in the moment of the game and they chicken out. I'm telling you right now...Bill Belichick goes for it.

Wow, Ginn made a tough catch. I would’ve liked that when he was in Carolina.

Well...that 1st down play call by Peyton may have given the Rams life. I thought they'd run it 3 times and force the Rams to use all their time outs...

Yep, when you're in that live situation it becomes completely different. I think he'd have gone for it if the game was tied at the time which now that i'm fully thinking things out doesn't make sense. If you're willing to do it when it's tied but not when you're down by 3 than you're wussing out.

I can empathize with McVay though. In the future if he's in that situation again he will (hopefully) learn his lesson and go for it.
