Yet, as I said, the best thing the Panthers can do is raise the stock of the kid, even if it means trading him in the end or whatever. If he plays again and does well, I mean things happen. The NFL is such a "what have you done for me lately?" kind of league, and things happen at the drop of a hat when they need to.

It's still not the hottest take in the world.

They lost to one of the other worst teams in the league last week and didn't score a TD. It's an improvement over what Cam was able to do his last 8 or so games.

It is, and it will make me pay more attention over the next couple of weeks if Cam is out longer, but little premature to say Cam is out as the starter

Yeah for sure. People have wanted Cam out for years because of reasons, so it's not surprising to hear it after a good game from the backup.

Very good game. I liked the aggressiveness at the start but they lost me going for two there smdh
