Week 5 Discussion Thread

LA Rams @ Seattle Seahawks kicks off Week 5.

Decent matchup on TNF. These NFC West division games are unpredictable.

Did not realize both these teams are 3-1, so this is a pretty big game for being so early in the season. SF sits atop the NFC West at 3-0 coming off their bye.

Jared Goff got paid and now has 6 TD/6 INT. Russ Wilson is paid and has 8 TD/0 INT. We probably don’t marvel at Wilson enough.

I like rushing/defense teams, so I have a soft spot for Seattle. But I think LA goes in there and handles their business. I want to see Gurley start to pick up the workload. He’s averaging about 12 rushes a game. I think the light work has been on purpose, now we’re getting in to the meat of the season so I’m guessing we will see an uptick. Especially in a division game against a good team.

Big fan of Tyler Lockett. He’s really become a really good WR. Carson seems to be getting back on track too, love his bullish style. They’ve got a few good backs there in Seattle.

Rams 33, Seahawks 24

Re: Week 5 Discussion Thread

TNF should be a good game, I can honestly see this going any number of ways, from a close game to a blowout on either side.

Also looking forward to Ravens/Steelers with a little bit of anxiety. Baltimore thrashed two of the worst teams, but couldn't match the two good teams they had to play. Pittsburgh is a team they need to beat if they are a legitimate playoff contender

Little rivalry game, I expect the good Steelers to show up

Still might not be enough because the Ravens are good GOOD and you guys are without all the old killer B’s.
