Haha I know, the OL is doing no favors for him but it felt like every other play he was getting wrecked and losing the ball. I actually kinda feel bad for him. Have they been this bad up front all year?

Re: Week 7 Discussion Thread

Joe Flacco? More like Joe Sacko amirite??

I know Flacco shouldn't be anywhere close to the same QB he was seven years ago when he demanded that he be treated among the elite QB's, but it's crazy to see how far away he is right now from the illusion he drew of himself after winning the SB back in 2012.

Maybe Osweiler should come out of retirement and suit up! I imagine him on his yacht right now, pulling a Shane Falco from The Replacements:

Oline is definitely not helping but Joe "The Statue" Flacco looks like Eli Manning. No Pocket movement.

Re: Week 7 Discussion Thread

The QB is equally responsible for pass protection.

I didn’t watch tonight’s game but identifying the blitz and pocket awareness is something Joe always struggled with in Baltimore.

If the Chiefs weren’t blitzing and pressuring Joe by rushing 4 and getting to him before he completed his dropback then yeah, it’s on the line. But if they were blitzing and constantly getting pressure then he deserves a large portion of the blame

I blame it on the Mighty Wings.

They got to him with just a four man rush on several occasions.

He was equally bad himself and earns plenty of the blame, but there are a lot of issues with the o-line.
