Still upset that Robert Quinn didn't wanna stay in Dallas. Dude was a beast last year.

Jamal Adams to the Seahawks. Jets get two first round picks, a third and a player. Nice return.

Love it!

After the most recent story with him publicly ripping gase I didn’t think we’d get a return even close to this

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread

Never in the NFL pages so sorry if it’s been talked about already. But did anybody see TO running 100 and 40 yard dashes with Tyreek Hill? That dude really still has it at 46 years old. I still think this dude could play today.

I tend to think safety is tremendously undervalued in the NFL relative to cornerback, but even with that Jamal Adams might be the only safety in the game worth anything close to this price. It's steep.

The thing with Adams is he can do almost anything and everything you might reasonably ask a defensive football player to do - he can man up in the slot, he can play deep center field, he can play robber, he can blitz the quarterback, he can shoot gaps in the run game, he can chase and tackle, he can read the offense pre-snap and get his teammates in better positions... he is damn good.

The only defensive back who might begin to approach his total-package talent and skill level is best-case-scenario two-years-from-now Isaiah Simmons.

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread

Also, anyone who runs with an NFC West team in Madden 21 who now has to play against the Seahawks twice a year with both those hit stick focused ability guys (Adams and Bobby Wagner) is now bawling in fear. lol

Blame Jerry Jones, not Robert Quinn.

Jerruh said he was gonna let all the Cowboys free agents walk (notably: Byron Jones, Robert Quinn, Maliek Collins, Jason Witten, Jeff Heath) to give the quarterback a well-deserved contract extension, then he wildly and irresponsibly underestimated the market value for quarterbacks. So now no deal is signed and the team is going to be far worse off if and when they do ultimately extend Dak Prescott than they would have been if they got the deal done anytime between the 2019 offseason and ten days ago.

I have nothing good to say about how the Cowboys have mismanaged their future salary cap this offseason. They've messed everything up because they tried to pinch pennies with the most valuable player on the roster, and they're gonna pay for it dearly on the field a couple years from now. Either that or the Cowboys quarterback in 2022 is gonna be Aaron Rodgers / Matthew Stafford and the team won't pick in the first round until the later part of the decade. Those are the two options.
