And assuming he was going to produce the way he did last year from here on out was insanely shortsighted. But the media creates that stuff, and then they pile on when their narratives prove to built on shoddy foundation.

Yeah, not nearly as efficiently as last year though. More attempts but less results.

Last season was a once in a generation type season. No way you can expect anything like 20 to 25 pass attempts with 2+ TDs a game while averaging 80+ rushing yards each game.

Edit: Here is a nifty fun stat. Last season Lamar had 9% of his pass attempts result in TDs. That is tied with Rodgers 2011(45 tds) and the only modern era season that is behind was Peyton's 2004 season (49 tds)
