Re: Week 15 Discussion Thread

I like Jaguars situation. They're definitely in the running for #1 pick with their last 2 opponents fighting for a playoff spot. They have a lot of picks and a lot cap space. If they can attack their glaring holes in FA and draft well, they can speed up their rebuilding process.

If drafting a QB rattles him, then that was a issue. It still is a bad pick, even if he is good. But, he obviously had issues with the Nick Foles shadow.
Exactly. Strangely enough we can still win the division, "mathematically." But I think I rather have the pick over what would surely be a wild card loss.

Also, don't wince if it hurts. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

The way this league works, next year you can find the team right back at the 7-9 territory

For sure. Sitting front seat in Philly I can see how fast it can crumble, and that’s with a title in their pocket already. Fastest way to the bottom of the league is if Josh Allen gets injured. The next is...

One thing I’ve heard almost nothing about in the Bills map to success is coach continuity. Same HC, GM, DC, and OC for last 3 seasons (4 for all but the OC), on a team that’s made the playoffs in 3 of 4 years now. Simply incredible. For what it’s worth, I think Frazier and Daboll are at their best as coordinators. And I think they understand this too. Doesn’t mean if someone calls they won’t answer, especially Daboll who hasn’t had the HC experience yet and is now a heralded offensive mind. Man... I thought that dude was gonna be such an obvious flop. But he calls amazing games — helps when the players execute too. It’s been a perfect marriage. Getting 3 straight years with a top pick at QB really allowed the pair to grow together.

We’ll see what happens this off-season, but breaking up gang is my main concern going forward the next few years.

Re: Week 15 Discussion Thread

I hate to say it, why give Ben 40 mil next year even if he restructures, hes done. Defensive playing at a playoff level, can't even get one first down.

Also no sympathy for JuJu getting laid out cleanly like that. Just like pre game vs Buffalo, other teams take notice.

Because the defense is playing the way they are, and they get Bush back.

Ben is clearly a shell of himself at this point but I watched a terrible Peyton Manning lead the Broncos to a SB win off the back of his defense.

They need to get a running game and most importantly, there is no one better to replace Ben at this point.
