Re: Super Bowl LV: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Kansas City Chiefs

I am going with the Chiefs but I expect a great game.

I’m kinda waiting for an Andy Reid clock fail moment, but Mahomes is so good the clock hardly runs out on them like it used to to Reid.

Can’t believe Brady is in another bowl with a whole different team. We respect his legendary status but I don’t think we’ll be able to really comprehend it for years after when he finally closes the book on his career. On him, can’t believe he’s in the opposite conference and still sonning the league. Kinda validates the feeling Jets, Bills, and Dolphins fans have had over the previous two decades — he’s a force no matter where he was posted up. He’s also at his best with a good defense and he’s got that with TB.

I’m happy for Arians and the tenured Bucs who’ve been through the lean times.

Chiefs 26, Bucs 20

Re: Super Bowl LV: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Kansas City Chiefs

I've been a Chiefs fan since 1993 , it's been rough but to see them making it to back to back Super Bowls is just incredible to me after the many bad seasons and one and done's in the playoffs.

Living in Maine and having to hear it from the Many Pats fans around here season after season I hope the Chiefs bury Brady and the Buc's. I hope they light it up and get out to a 3 Td lead in the first quarter and never look back , but we know that won't happen. I just pray they don't give the ball back to Brady at the end of the game with only 2:00 left.

Chiefs - 24
Bucs - 20

Re: Super Bowl LV: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Kansas City Chiefs

We have not talked about the KC defense enough. I was talking ... ****... on them leading up to the AFCCG. Disrespectful trash. Rest assured, I know the names of their DB’s now. Most can’t name their LB’s. But they certainly handled business last year in the super bowl and are the key to the Chiefs rise from playoff contender to the team everyone is chasing these days.

Bucs defense is good and they’re tasked with somehow limiting Mahomes & Co., but it’s the Chiefs defense against Brady we need to examine. Brady is not infallible these days... I don’t know if KC squanders 3 INT from Brady like GB did. I’m expecting a good game but it could get out of hand if there’s sloppy QB play or Tyreek just wants to break the receiving record this time.

This is a major statement game for KC to cement their status going forward. Right now, they’re in Seahawks of the 2010’s territory. Feared, signature style, and a Super Bowl to their name. A back to back from KC pushes them in to that hallowed group of repeat champs. It’s crazy they’re a penalty away from being in 3 straight Super Bowls, too. The Pats always loomed like a dark cloud during their multi-dynasty, but I don’t know if they ever just straight up scared me like KC does. I’m looking at them as a fan of a contending team and wondering if it’s even possible to knock them off. Only one team has done so and it was the other ****ing team we could never beat. I’m not ready to lose to the same team every year like clockwork after we just got out of that cycle!
