Columbus Blue Jackets fan here- still alive post Rick Nash. Liking the team so far. Disappointed we didn't pull it off after a great come back against Detroit last night.

Always a good game when you can beat the Leafs. Hodgson has 2 goals on 0 shots this season, shows what going to the net can do for you. Our PK has also looked good, but it helps that Miller is playing very good.

What got you into Hockey?

Because I love the speed of the game, and I wanted to expand my sports knowledge. I am still learning though.

I wonder if it would have been different if they took Galchenyuk or Grigorienko instead of drafting Ryan Murray, which seems like overkill with all the D prospects Columbus has.

Columbus has solid D prospects, but need a new offensive face of the franchise.

I noticed the Flames lost again. It'll be a long season in Calgary if they don't stay consistent for the whole freaking game.

Against San Jose, they played a great 1st 25 mins and then fell apart
Last night against the Ducks, they don't show up until it's 3-0.

I really think they should have rebuilt and pulled an Edmonton. This team just isn't skilled enough to make the play-offs and even if they did, they'd be scraping in. They're not bad enough to draft high end talent and not good enough to compete with the big boys. Not the best position to be in when your best players are 35 and 36.

I really wish inDemand would change how they put the games on. I only get games on Center Ice 1-5 in HD. However, the geniuses clump the games together so 4 channels get wasted on 2 games. I want to watch Nashville and Minnesota, but it won't be in HD... add a point for Gamecenter on that one. If only there was a convenient way to watch on my TV upstairs without having to move my PS3 back and forth nightly (that doesn't involve the obvious answer of buy a 2nd PS3). Hmmm, Roku LT is only $50. I could use it for NHL, MLB, and Netflix... I'll have to think about that.

3 Blues games to watch in the first 4 days of the season, and all are on TV. Love it!

FSMW is broadcasting every single one of the games not picked up by NBC/SN - a total of 41 games.

I may not even see all the Flyers games. Turns out CSN Philly has never heard of an alternate channel. If the 76ers and Flyers are on at the same time, if they broadcast the 76ers, I'm SOL.

There is a alternate channel. It used to be like ch. 7 or 9 (when it was UPN 57 or whatever) now it's CN8 (ch. 8). Not sure if they picked up games due to lockout though. They broadcasted a handful last couple years.

There is a alternate channel. It used to be like ch. 7 or 9 (when it was UPN 57 or whatever) now it's CN8 (ch. 8). Not sure if they picked up games due to lockout though. They broadcasted a handful last couple years.

I e-mailed CSN. They said that the 76ers games are broadcast on The Comcast Network. I would never have found it as it is an SD-only on channel 99, a place I rarely venture. So I shouldn't miss any Flyers games, and hopefully will get them on HD if that holds.

To be fair to Quick the team played a terrible game. He gave up 5 goals. 2 off of Kings players, one on a 5 on 3, one on a rebound after making a breakaway save, and one on a 2 on 1 one timer that hit the post and went in.

Yeah he probably could have made a save on the PP goal as well as the one timer from the top of the circles, but both shots were put in perfect spots.

Looks like a Luongo deal is imminent
