Kings have about 8 mil in cap space right now with 23 guys signed. The cap hits for the talent the Kings have isn't ridiculous. Outside of Doughty and his 7M and Kopitar's 6.8 guys like Richards and Carter are getting 5.7 and 5.2. Brown only gets 3.1, and for next season Quick is still at a 1.8 cap hit.

PA Parenteau signs with Colorado, 4 years 16M. I'm shocked he didn't get 5M.

Random tweet came across my timeline saying Suter is down to Vancouver, Detroit, and Philadelphia. Seems dubious.

Wow Tampa is desperate for help on D, signed Sami Salo 2 years 3.75 mil per.

Salo is a solid bottom pairing guy but wow that seems like a lot for what he is at this point in his career.
