Good Lord, just looked through UMD's roster. Damn near the ENTIRE roster they had last year came back this year.

To be honest, I'll be really happy with a split this weekend.

From what I saw on Saturday, the Gophers looked rather disjointed. So much roster turnover, it's hard to come out firing on all cylinders.

Freshman goalie looked pretty solid, though. So that's good.

I didn't know it until I checked the box score today, but Omaha started a freshman in net Saturday.

40 save shutout in your first collegiate appearance is one hell of a first impression.

Omaha being at #3 seems like a bit of a knee-jerk reaction if you ask me. Yes, they swept MSU on the road, but they were horrendously out-shot, could have been a case of good goaltending but could also be a case of pure luck.

I don't like being ranked this high. We Omahans are used to being the underdog that's good enough to beat anybody.
