Games weren't that great today but lots of amazing talent on display obviously. Too bad tomorrow is filled with football otherwise it'd be fun to see the other two games.

I haven't read much on here about the world cup, so not sure if I'm the only one.. But am I the only one that don't care about this? LOL. I'm over here crossing my fingers Crosby, Murray, and Malkin stay healthy. Ha.

Most people seemed lukewarm on it but as its arrived, we've come around. I was personally pretty excited from the jump... competitive hockey early, count me in.

We're crying big tears for your guys, Fiddy. That extra weight of the championship rings might throw off their balance!

Imagine Lightning fans fears, they have 12 players playing. My Flyers with 7.

The injury thing has never bothered me about these tourneys. Preseason starts in a week anyway, so you're adding a few games if that. Worth letting the guys represent their country and play in a best on best tourney. Now tell that to the Islanders with Tavares from the Olympics or Stars fans who saw Seguin fracture his heel this tournament. Haha

I'd argue that this is a better tuneup for these players than the preseason anyway. Better for them, better for us.

Team Europe won again. They're now technically in sole possession of 1st(since Canada has only played 1 game).

USAs only hope of advancing now is:
Canada losing to both USA AND Europe.

lol, ESPN must be mad now. Probably banking on USA being in the semis if not the finals, and now they might walk out of this tourney with just 1 win(if they can even beat the Czech) and finish likely 6th.
