The other one that comes to mind was the NHL awards show with roller blading models, skating around with spandex and hockey pants. It was fantastically horrible.

The NHL is like a buddies hockey pool. They change rules on the fly, stats are being done via newspaper boxscores, there's only 5 guys partaking,....
Such a colossal s**t show.

What makes it funnier is that the league is filled with comatose personalities.
You can't get anything but tired cliche's out of any of them, and then you see the Vanilla Ice Dancers on stage for an awards show, lol.

Not sure if Strome is really going to do much better or worse than Eberle, but I think both players needed a change of scenery.
Strome will probably play the wing in Edmonton, but if the Oilers could move RNH for a top-4 dman, maybe they move Draisaitl back to centre and have Strome centre their 3rd line?

Short term I think Islanders win the deal, long term maybe Oilers. Especially if something like Strome leaving Arizona and going to join his brother in Edmonton happens.
