And coaches have even said in the past that the bye week sucks cause guys aren't skating. It's almost like having a lower body injury keeping you out day to day, you can't even skate in the meanwhile while you recover. No practice was allowed until Thursday I believe.

That makes it 8 straight and 5 points back of CBJ for WC2 (they have 2 games in hand though).

Regardless of what happens this year, Hart is the real deal and I’m not afraid to say it. You don’t come up with this level of buzz and luck in to what he’s done so far. He’s proving he may be BETTER then everyone pegged him. He just turned 20 years old before the season. In Philadelphia, where goalies go to die. The excitement and skepticism is fading away to sheer awe of an elite talent lifting his team from the basement to competitiveness.

If the goalie position is sured up after DECADES of trying to figure that out, whew boy. Not to say Hart will be Brodeur or Lundvquist, but to pencil in the same guy year after year after year ... a luxury I’ve never had as a fan of the Flyers. And this is just the beginning.

We deserve this one.

It's a shame the way vs. the Kings game was lost. Koeneckny (sorry, I'm tired of looking up how to spell NHL players names!) was so damn close, but there were dingers both ways in this last one. Hey, battling back like the Flyers did to tie it in the waning seconds and then almost win it... all this with their now backup goalie was impressive. Lots of good to take away from this one.
